A Record-Breaking Native Plant Sale Success!

The Native Plant Sale was an incredible success this year, and we could not be more grateful for the overwhelming community support!

Thanks to our amazing customers, volunteers, and partners, we sold an incredible 3,793 native plants to homeowners, gardeners, landowners, and pollinator enthusiasts throughout our community. Every plant purchased helps create healthier habitats for pollinators, birds, and wildlife while improving soil and water quality right here in Berrien County.

In addition to native plants, attendees also purchased:

  • Rain barrels to help conserve water and reduce runoff

  • Bee houses to support our important native pollinators

  • Countless educational books and puzzles designed to inspire learning and promote native landscaping and conservation practices

This event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our outstanding team and volunteers who spent countless hours organizing orders, assisting customers, and helping make the day run smoothly. Your passion for conservation and community truly made this event special.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our wonderful nursery partners:

  • More Trees and Plants LLC

  • Mitten Native Nursery

  • Hidden Savanna Nursery

Their commitment to providing high-quality native plants helps make events like this possible and supports conservation efforts across our region.

A special thank you also goes to the Berrien County Youth Fair for their continued support and for allowing us to use their grounds for our annual plant sale. Their partnership helps us create a welcoming and accessible event for the entire community year after year.

By choosing native plants, our community is helping:

  • Provide food and habitat for pollinators

  • Improve biodiversity

  • Reduce erosion and runoff

  • Support healthier ecosystems

  • Create beautiful, resilient landscapes

Seeing so many people excited about native planting gives us hope for the future of conservation in our community. Thank you again to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and helped spread the word.

And while this year’s spring sale may be over, keep an eye out for our upcoming Browse & Buy Native Plant Sale this fall! More details will be shared in the coming months, and we cannot wait to continue helping our community grow native landscapes that benefit both people and wildlife.

Thank you for helping us make a difference, one native plant at a time!
