Meet Our Board of Directors
Our organization is led by a 5-member Board of Directors who oversee operations and guide our mission. We're committed to transparency and accountability, which is why our monthly board meetings are open to the public. These meetings take place on the second Monday of each month at 12 pm, unless a federal holiday falls on that Monday. Our board members are elected annually at our spring meeting and serve four-year terms.

Join our Board
We're calling on passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors! Our Directors are voting members who serve four-year terms, with annual elections at our spring meeting, and play a crucial role in shaping the future of conservation in our community. We're always looking for dedicated individuals who share our mission and values to join our team.
In addition to Director positions, we're also open to individuals interested in serving as Associate Directors. As non-voting members, Associate Directors have the opportunity to learn about our organization, use their voice, contribute to committee work, and gain valuable experience. After serving as an Associate Director, individuals can run for a Director position in the next election if they choose, providing a pathway to take on a more formal leadership role.
Want to learn more about what we do and how our board operates? Attend one of our board meetings, which are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 12 pm. This is a great opportunity to see our work in action and get a feel for our board's dynamics.
If you're interested in joining our Board of Directors or serving as an Associate Director, please email our District Manager, Lisa.Kuntz@macd.org, for more information. We'd be happy to answer any questions you may have and provide more details about the opportunities and expectations. Let's work together to make a difference in our community!
