Volunteer Stream Monitoring: Macroinvertebrate Aquatic Insect Collection
We have received a grant from Michigan Clean Water Corps (MiCorps) to collect aquatic insects in Hickory Creek.
Volunteers are needed to help us collect macroinvertebrates (aquatic insects) at the specified stream sites. The number and types of species found helps to better understand water quality and habitat.
