About the event

Join the BCCD in a workshop presented by Mike Wozniak and Jay Korsun on Generally Accepted Agricultural and Management Practices for Site Selection and Odor Control for New and Expanding Livestock Facilities.  This workshop will help new and beginning farms  determine the suitability of sites to place or keep livestock. The GAAMPs provide a planning process that can be used to properly plan new and expanding facilities and to increase the suitability of a particular site thus enhancing neighbor relations. The GAAMPs for Site Selection and Odor Control for New and Expanding Livestock Facilities are written to provide uniform, statewide standards and acceptable management practices based on sound science. They are intended to provide guidance for the construction of new and expanding livestock facilities and/or the associated manure storage facilities for the placement and keeping of any number of livestock.

This workshop qualifies for MAEAP phase 1 event
